The "CENTRE FOR HUMAN RIGHTS AND MINORITIES WELFARE" has established with an intention to create an awareness about the basic, fundamental and human rights of women, children, backward classes including scheduled caste and schedule tribes and of minorities etc. The Centre was inaugurated at the auspicious hands of Hon'ble Mr. Justice Kshitij R. Vyas ,Chairperson, Maharashtra Human Rights Commission, Mumbai. To achieve this object and purpose college organized various seminars and guest lectures.

• State Level Symposium on "Women's Right – Human Rights Perspective was organized on 30th September 2006 at Assembly Hall. Hon'ble Prof. Dr.A. Lakshminath, Vice -Chancellor Chanakya Law University, Patana was the Chief Guest of the function. Hon'ble Adv. Sureshchandra R. Bhosale , Member, Bar Council of India of Maharashtra and Goa and Dean Faculty of Law , University of Pune, Hon'ble Adv.Shri. Bhaskar E. Avhad, President and Founder Trustee of Maharashtra, Accord of Engineering and Educational Research, Pune and H. Dilip Shinde , Assistant Commissioner of Police Crime -2, Pune were present as Guest of Honour for that Function.


• State Level Seminar on "Protection and Promotion of Minority Rights – A Human Rights Perspective" on 2nd February 2008 . Hon'ble Mr. Justice Kshitij R. Vyas ,Chairperson, Maharashtra Human Rights Commission, Mumbai was the Chief Guest of the Function and was Presided over by Hon'ble Mr. Justice V.G. Munshi, Member, Maharashtra Human Rights Commission, Mumbai.


• Hon'ble Mr. Syed Sadiq Jilani, Gender Advisor, United Nations Population Fund(UNFPA) delivered the Guest Lecture on 3rd July, 2009 on "Role of United Nations in Protection and Promotion of Human Rights & Career Opportunities with United Nation."
  Recently College has released 'Journal of Minorities Rights' at the auspicious hands of Hon'ble Mr. Justice Cyriac Joseph, Judge Supreme Court of India and also launched Web-site on the rights of minorities to get updated knowledge about the rights of minorities.i.e. www.painamdarmer.or
